We offer two master's degree programs in environmental and sustainability engineering:
Environmental and Sustainability Engineering

This track leads to a master of science (MS) degree awarded by the Department of Civil Engineering. This is a technical program for students with an undergraduate degree in engineering.

Sustainable Infrastructure

This track leads to a master of engineering (MEng) degree awarded by the College of Engineering. This is a more flexible program for students with undergraduate degrees in fields such as science, mathematics, or economics.

We also offer two doctoral degree programs through a coordinated program with the University of Colorado at Boulder. The PhD in Civil Engineering is a technical program for students with master's degrees in engineering, while the PhD in Civil Engineering Systems is a more flexible program for students with master's degrees in other fields.
