What Is This Course All About?

Besides reviewing exam topics, we gear our PE-Civil Refresher Course to help you pass the exam.  With example problems and solutions presented by our subject matter experts, we prepare you for the Morning Breadth Session of the PE-Civil State Board Exam, which consists of 40 multiple-choice questions in 6 topic areas.  Our Refresher Course includes the standardized 7-topic areas: Construction, Geotechnical, Water Resources, Environmental, Transportation, Structural, plus Engineering Economics, and Ethics & Business Practices.  See the back of this flyer for a full breakdown of the schedule covering all 7 topics.

Why Should I Take This Course?

Do you want to pass the PE-Civil State Board Exam?  It seems like a simple question, and all other reference materials will help.  However, being in an interactive classroom, solving problems, and asking questions, is far more effective than merely studying on your own.  As well as providing additional problem/solution practice, we supply a committed setting for developing professional relationships with other qualified students, which in-turn creates study groups for even further comprehension.  Overall, our students gain a deeper understanding of the type of questions presented on the State Board Exam.  Furthermore, almost all of our students pass the PE-Civil exam after taking our refresher course.  Then again, just in case you need to try another time, we offer our “Repeat Refresher Students” a $100 discount on any future refresher course enrollments, or a $50 per topic session “Al A Carte” discount, or activation of the course On-line Blackboard Shell for only $200.  Better yet, we even offer a 15% discount on any of the Professional Publications, Inc. study materials through the following link: http://ppi2pass.com/ppi/PPIShop?psp=DI174

Where And When Do I Attend Class?

Held at the Auraria Campus in Downtown Denver for 7 Saturdays (14 topic sessions) from January 30 – March 27, 2010; from 8:30am to 5:30pm (1 hour break for lunch)

How Much Is This Going To Cost Me, And What Do I Get For My Money?

$700 tuition includes an On-Line Blackboard Shell supplying all materials provided by our instructor (notes, problems/solutions, exam specs, and much more), a $50 Gift Certificate to the Auraria Campus Clicks Copy Center for printing any notes or obtaining anything else you may need throughout the duration of the course.  Students who attend 12 of the 14 topic sessions earn a Passing Grade and a Certificate of Completion with 5.6 CEUs (Continuing Education Units) equaling 56-hours of in-class attendance; Sign-in on each topic session’s attendance roster required.

FYI: Late Registration Fee ($100) begins at 5:00pm on January 23, 2010

FYI: Drop Deadline is 5:00pm on January 23, 2010
