What Is This Course All About?

This accelerated course explains the processes, terms, and concepts in project management, as well as prepping students for the Project Management Professional (PMP®) and the Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM®) exams.

Why Should I Take This Course?

Do you want to pass the PMP® or the CAPM® exam?  It seems like a simple question, and all other reference materials will help you.  However, being in an interactive classroom, solving problems, and asking questions, is far more effective than merely studying on your own. As well as providing additional problem/solution practice, we supply a committed setting for developing professional relationships with other qualified students, which in-turn creates study groups for even further comprehension.  Overall, our students gain a deeper understanding of the type of questions presented on both exams.  Additionally, this course will improve the cost, scheduling, and scope requirements of your own projects.  We teach our students how to apply valuable knowledge, concepts, tools, and techniques to pass either exam.

Who Is The Instructor And What Do They Know?

Tiffany Dahlberg, PMP, President of Achievement Consulting and Training, Inc., has over 20 years of experience in process improvement, project management, organizational communication, change management, and training.  As an internal consultant and trainer, she contributed to the success of organizations such as TIAA-CREF®, PRIMESTAR (now DirecTV®), the Arvada Center for Arts and Humanities, and AT&T™.  Her client list includes Time Warner Cable™, Newmont Mining™, plus the U.S. Forest Service.  Ms. Dahlberg earned her B.A. from Montana State University in Billings, and her M.A. in Organizational Management from the University of Phoenix.  She is an active member of the American Society of Training and Development (ASTD), Women’s Vision, Vistage (formerly The Executive Committee {TEC}), as well as the Project Management Institute® (PMI).
