PUBLIC HEALTH RESEARCH

The Colorado School of Public Health fosters research aimed at population-level disease prevention, health promotion, health policy & health outcomes. Strategies for translating research into practice include creating practice-based academic/research units and offering fellowships, internships, and participatory programs that provide services and capacity building to the communities.

The new school also offers research-service centers to provide fee-for-services consulting in areas such as biostatistics, community participatory research and epidemiological methods. A number of centers are housed directly in the school with additional centers choosing to become affiliated with the new school in the future.
