On-going Online Program

Spring 2008: Colorado Springs Community-Bound Saturday Cohort #5
In January 2008, a new Colorado Springs cohort will begin. The Colorado Springs cohort meets once a month, all-day on Saturdays at a local school for each course.

On-campus Courses

On-campus cohorts begin on an annual basis when there are twenty or more students committed to taking courses together on-campus in a one night a week or in a weekend format.

If you are interested in starting a cohort of interested teachers within your school district where course sessions can be held at a local school library one evening a week or one Saturday a month, please contact Dr. Laura Summers, School Library Director for more information.

First Semester Orientation and Group Advising

New school library program students are invited to attend the orientation/group advisement meeting in August; January, or May before their first semester of classes start. At the School Library orientation, you can:

  • Meet your advisor and other faculty;
  • Learn about Web resources for your program;
  • Meet other students;
  • Get advice about your classes, plan of study, and portfolio; and
  • Pick up some online program survival strategies.
