Jenn Thomas began working for the Center of Preservation Research (CoPR) as Administrative Coordinator in January 2009. She received her MLA in August of 2009 from UCD. Her master's thesis is entitled "The Education of Jane Silverstein Ries at the Lowthorpe School of Landscape Architecture for Women, Groton, MA, 1928-1932."
Jenn received a Bachelor of Arts degree in art history with a minor in French. After completing two years of MLA coursework at Cornell University, she transferred to the University of Colorado Denver in 2006. Jenn received the 2007 Garden Club of America's Scholarship and Internship in Garden History and Design. During the summer of 2007, she interned at the Smithsonian Institution's Archives of American Gardens.
Jenn currently serves on the board of directors for the Jane Silverstein Ries Foundation. She is a HALS (Historic American Landscape Survey) Liaison for the American Society of Landscape Architects, Colorado Chapter.
