I enjoy working on projects for small cities and towns because it allows me to work directly with a community and engages them to work toward a common agenda.
Interests include learning landscapes, free play, wild zones, therapeutic gardens, restorative gardens, and urban parks and plazas.

I enjoy working with small towns and being able to directly communicate with members of the community to address the needs and aspirations they have concerning their town.
Interests include sponsored freestyle kayaking and playing in the outdoors.

In my spare time I volunteer with the local chapter of AIA COTE (Committee on the Environment), and the USGBC Emerging Green Builders committee. Currently (along with a group of volunteers) I am helping to organize the USGBC EGB 2009 Natural Talent Design Competition.
With in architecture I hope to pursue, work or research sustainable design and the human factor (how the human is effected by the built environment). Other hobbies include, design, photography, art, fashion, traveling, any activities that are outdoors, in the city or in the mountains.
