About CoPR

The Center of Preservation Research (CoPR) is part of the College of Architecture and Planning at the University of Colorado Denver (UCD).

CoPR (pronounced 'copper') is not only the Center of Preservation Research at UCD, it is physically located in the center of preservation activities in the American West--a hub of preservation scholarship, education, and community engagement. 

As a university research center dedicated to the study, preservation and sustainable use of the built environment and cultural landscapes, we explore--through education and scholarship--places, people, and traditions.
