Personal Bio

Sarah Lampe, Research Coordinator for Learning Landscapes, has her Master's in Public Health from the Colorado School of Public Health with an emphasis in Community and Behavioral Health and her undergraduate degrees in psychology and biology from Saint Louis University. Sarah has been working with Learning Landscapes since May 2008. Before moving into her position at Learning Landscapes, Sarah and her husband, Justin, lived and worked in the Dominican Republic doing water and sanitation work in a Haitian community, and served as a liaison for Harvard Medical International in the development of a new school of medicine based in public health and service learning components in the capital, Santo Domingo. Before moving to “the DR” Sarah also worked as a research assistant doing clinical trials with patients who have sickle cell and lab trials on HIV vaccines. Because she comes from a family of five and an extended family of more than 100, Sarah has found a love for planning and preparing meals and celebrations for large numbers of people and doesn’t mind getting her hands deep into her work and play.
