Community Outreach Projects

Westside Healthy Exercise and Nutrition Project

Learning Landscapes has partnered with Denver Public Health Hospital to promote exercise and nutrition in schools in the following neighborhoods: West Colfax, Sun Valley, and Villa Park.

Our projects have included:

A Health and Resource Fair at Colfax Elementary School,

A Gardening and Nutrition Program at Eagleton Elementary School

Tree Plantings at Cheltenham Elementary School

Training for a Kids' Marathon at Cowell Elementary School

Promoting Denver Parks and Recreation Free Youth Programs at all of the above schools, and Fairview Elementary School.
