Community Outreach Projects

Office of Economic Development

Denver Office of Economic Development recognizes that Learning Landscapes are valuable communtiy resources.  As such, OED has funded Learning Landscapes to create the Community Outreach Program in 16 Denver neighborhoods, which encompass 30 Learning Landscapes.  

The program beautifies communities through volunteer projects at the LearningLandscapes, increases civic engagement by school students, teachers, community members, and other volunteers, provides technical assistance to schools seeking to improve their grounds, and creates programming, such as "Walk to School days," that increase physical activity.
