School Description

Barrett Elementary, located in the Skyland Neighborhood,was built in 1959 and was named after Harry McWhirter Barrett. Harry Barrett was a teacher and an administrator in the Denver Public Schools for 20 years back in the early 1900's.

Learning Landscape Description

This plan emphasized the interweaving of multicultural diversity and water - both highly valued western resources - as major assets to be celebrated.
