School Description

Ashley Elementary School is located in the East Colfax neighborhood of east Denver, at 1914 Syracuse Street. The East Colfax neighborhood is bounded on the north by East 23rd Avenue and Montview Boulevard, on the south by East 11th Avenue, on the east by Yosemite Street, and on the west by Quebec Street. The neighborhood of East Colfax is bordered by Stapleton to the north and Lowery to the south. 

Learning Landscape Description

Ashley Elementary School - The master plan for this historic school, a "modern" art deco building built in the late 1920's, calls for community gardens, art pieces, mazes, and fun interactive spaces intended to foster creativity, confidence, and fun.
