Responsibilities____________________________________________________
Supervisor of all Visual Resource Center staff
Digital Image Library: Build and maintain a computerized database of digital images (including audio and video files) for use in classroom instruction and research, as well as a web site featuring Colorado architecture, landscapes and urban sites. Collaborate with other University of Colorado work units to share equipment, software, and technical support costs for the digital library.
Portfolio Photography: Provide facilities, studio and camera equipment, and verbal and written instruction for students and faculty to photographically document their course projects, including formal training seminars for groups of students and an instructional portfolio photography video
Event Photographer: Take portraits of CAP faculty and staff and photos of CAP classroom juries and critiques, community projects sponsored by CAP faculty, visiting lecturers, and other college curricular or social events for potential use in the college web site, newsletters, handbooks, etc.
Audiovisual, camera, and video equipment: Provide and/or maintain equipment used in CAP classroom instruction, including assistance on how to use the equipment; provide a media center for check-out of equipment to faculty and students, including equipment purchases
Photo Lab: Provide and maintain an undergraduate darkroom facility that serves as a working lab for college photography courses, including purchase and disposal of chemicals and darkroom equipment
