Master of Urban Design Curriculum Overview

Curriculum Overview

The post-professional MUD is a 36-credit program offered over three terms (Fall, Spring, Summer). In addition to regular MUD faculty members pulled from the architecture, landscape architecture and planning departments, expert urban design practitioners will help teach the required studios and seminars.

In addition to the core courses, two required electives must be chosen from list of approved courses in either of two complementary fields of study in the College. For example, if a student has a first professional degree in architecture, he or she must select two electives in either landscape architecture or urban and regional planning.
