Boulder or Denver

Depending on your status (undergraduate or graduate), you will contact your respective campus (Boulder or Denver) for more information and to take the next steps for this amazing opportunity.

  • Denver
Each summer, faculty of the College offer course work abroad through the Denver campus. In recent years, sites have included Prague, Rome, Helsinki, Paris, Beijing, and Madrid. In addition to these sites, for the past seven years, the College has been offering an integrated Urban Design Studio in Turkey. These courses offer the opportunity to study the process of design in another culture as well as shedding light on your own perceptions and attitudes toward design.
  • Boulder
The Office of International Education (OIE) at the Boulder campus provides broad opportunities for international education for students and faculty. The OIE sponsors study abroad programs for undergraduates wishing to spend part of their academic career abroad, serves as host to foreign students and scholars who come to Boulder, and provides advice and assistance to students, faculty, and staff who are interested in an international dimension to their study, teaching, or research. And finally, financial aid and scholarships are available.

Ciao!

The College has historically offered a semester abroad program in Florence and Rome in the Fall or Spring semester. If you do spend a semester in Florence or Rome, you will live in a student apartment while attending design, history, and language classes with local faculty. In addition, the program organizes a cultural activities series, offers optional social activities, and provides support and guidance. Plans for an expansion of study abroad opportunities are currently being considered. These immersion semesters are offered to upper-division undergraduate students.
