Continuing Education Units (CEUs)

All non-credit courses carry Continuing Education Units (CEUs). Those students who successfully fulfill attendance requirements in a non-credit course earn a certificate of completion. The CEU is a standardized and nationally recognized unit of measure documenting successful participation in a professionally organized continuing education learning experience. One CEU equals ten hours of program activity, for instance, 12 hours of instruction is equal to 1.2 CEUs.

College Credits

A limited number of our courses offer undergraduate or graduate credit hours. A standard college credit hour equals fifteen hours of program activity. Students may register for our college credit offerings directly with our office. Participants do not need to be formally admitted to the University of Colorado Denver
