Device Modeling and Simulation of Noval Semiconductor Devices

Bio:
Hamid Z. Fardi received the PhD degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder in 1986. He was a Postdoctoral Fellow at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Troy, New York in 1987. From 1988 to 1992, he was with the NSF MIMICAD research center of the University of Colorado at Boulder. He received the Western Universities Fellowship Award through National Renewable Energy Laboratory in 1996 and 1997. In 1997, he received the Researcher of the Year Award of the College of Engineering, University of Colorado Denver. His research interests concern the physics and stimulation of novel semiconductor devices. He has been with the Department of Electrical Engineering, University of Colorado Denver since 1992, where he is currently an Associate Professor. He is Treasurer of IEEE Electron Device Society for the Denver Chapter. He is member of Electrochemical Society and an associate member of American Computing Machinery.
