Engineering Undergraduate ScholarshipsThe College of Engineering and Applied Science makes available a variety of undergraduate scholarship funds generously given by industry, alumni, and other donors to support the education of engineering students.
Qualifications:
- All recipients must be registered for 6 or more credit hours in the semester when the awards are made.
- Although some industry donor contracts do allow recipients to have GPA’s as low as 2.75, students with GPA’s below 3.0 are generally not awarded scholarships due to competition.
- Dean’s Scholarship applicants must be paying in-state tuition and have at least a 3.0 GPA, but do not need to show unmet financial need.
How to apply:
Students may apply for all college-based scholarships by April 1 or October 1 of each year, and all recipients are notified in either May or December. For more information, please contact the Dean's Office, NC 3024, or 303-556-2870.

The National Science Foundation REACH Scholarship for Engineering Students
If you are a student with academic talent and financial need who is interested in attending the College of Engineering and Applied Science at UCD, the Recruiting Engineers to ACHieve (REACH) Program may be able to help. Sponsored by the National Science Foundation, a scholarship from the REACH Program can provide the financial, academic, and social support necessary for you to achieve your goal of receiving a bachelor’s degree and joining the science, technology, engineering and mathematics workforce.
Qualifications:
All recipients must be enrolled in the College of Engineering and Applied Science at UCD.
How to apply:
Apply for an NSF REACH Scholarship online. Applications received by the first week of August will be considered for the Fall Semester. Applications received by the first week of January will be considered for the Spring Semester.
