MPH-Generalist (CSU)

 

The mission of the Master of Public Health† degree program at Colorado State University is to provide leadership in graduate education, service to the community through partnerships to increase capacity to respond to public health problems, and to serve as a resource to the state in developing public policy that promotes health.  Core academic public health areas include biostatistics, epidemiology, environmental health sciences, health services administration, and social and behavioral sciences. Students completing the MPH degree will take 17 credit hours of core curriculum from the areas mentioned.  In addition, students will complete an additional 21 credits of electives.  Students will take a practicum course which will provide them with field experience in a public health setting.
