MPH-Health Systems, Management & Policy

 

The MPH program in health systems, management and policy trains students in the organization, administration, management and evaluation of public and private sector health programs and health system issues in order to prepare graduates for leadership careers in government, health care industry, and non-governmental organizations. Students are provided the management tools needed to operate programs and organizations effectively.  Students are also prepared in the analysis of health policy.  Concentration coursework includes: managing individuals & teams; research methods; health policy; and health economics.  Elective coursework includes: legal issues in heath care; ethical and legal issues in public health; quality of care; program planning and implementation; and health outcomes research.
