What is Environmental Health?

"Those aspects of human health, including quality of life, that are determined by interactions with physical, chemical, biological, and social factors in the environment.  It also refers to the theory and practices of assessing, correcting, controlling, and preventing those factors in the environment that may adversely affect the health of present and future generations."

Image Info: There are no children here however that is not to say there are not children living directly behind and to the left and right of this debris.  One hundred years later – are we better off?  In many instances yes!  However, in some ways we have abandoned the most at risk populations == those residing in American cities, living below poverty, those of color, those that may be the most susceptible to environmental toxics.
