Local government is the most rapidly growing area of the public sector employment across the country, providing jobs in municipalities, counties, regional authorities, and councils of government.The Local Government Concentration allows Master of Public Administration students to become well-versed in the forces that shape the agendas of these offices and agencies and gain an understanding of government management and policy making.
Certificate in Local Government
Non-degree students can earn the Certificate in Local Government by successfully completing 15 credit hours from courses offered and approved by the faculty in the Local Government Concentration.
