SPA Adds New Faculty & Staff
|
Andrew Romanoff, former Speaker of the House for the State of Colorado, has recently joined the School of Public Affairs as a Scholar-in-Residence. Romanoff will be helping to connect students with state government opportunities, assist with capstones, teach in the MPA program and work on various civic engagement initiatives. Romanoff recently finished his JD from the University of Denver and holds a BA from Yale and a MPP from Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government.

The ICMA Graduate Management Internship in Performance Measurement is offered by the ICMA Center for Performance Measurement and provides over $41,700 in financial support over a two-year period. Incoming MPA/MPP students selected for this program will receive the knowledge, training, and real-world experience necessary to help them become local government leaders in performance measurement and management. Those selected for this program will begin working full-time as analysts during the summer prior to beginning their academic program. Analysts will work at ICMA’s headquarters in Washington DC for this summer period. They will continue working part-time during the fall and spring semesters of 2009/2010. Candidates will work for 20 hours per week throughout the academic year at their selected university.

1. Different causes & manners of death (concentrated on what is seen in the field)
2. The roles & responsibilities of the Police Officer

6. Viewing a human anatomical specimen – does include a human cadaver
