Bio:  Dr. Deanna M. Pérez is an Assistant Professor in the School of Public Affairs at the University of Colorado Denver. Dr. Pérez received her Ph.D. and M.A. in Criminology and Criminal Justice from the University of Maryland.  Her research interests include correctional rehabilitation and evidence-based practices, offender substance-abuse and treatment issues, gender and crime, and criminological theory testing.
