Areas of Interest: Criminology, Evaluation Research & Juvenile Justice.

Bio: Professor Poole has his M.A. and Ph.D. in sociology from Washington State University. Prior to joining SPA, he taught at Auburn University. Dr. Poole served as SPA's interim dean for the 1995-96 academic year. Currently, he teaches in the Criminal Justice Program and is a nationally-respected scholar in the fields of corrections, criminology, evaluation research, and juvenile justice.
