Areas of Interest: Program Evaluation, Research Methods, & Education Policy.

Bio: Professor Fitzpatrick holds her M.A. in political science and Ph.D. in educational psychology from the University of Texas at Austin. Her special areas of interest are program evaluation, research methods, and education policy. She has extensive experience conducting evaluations in a variety of settings focusing on children, women, and families. She is the author of a graduate textbook in program evaluation and editor of a book on ethics in evaluation. She has served on the Board of the American Evaluation Association and as Associate Editor of the American Journal.
