Welcome to the University of Colorado Denver!
UC Denver is home to twelve schools and colleges operating on three campuses located in downtown Denver, at 9th and Colorado in mid-town, and at the new Anschutz Medical campus in Aurora. The Office of the Provost has responsibility for the seven schools and colleges located at the downtown campus as well as all faculty, academic, and student affairs across all three UC Denver campuses.
In addition to its nationally ranked schools and two libraries that serve over 1 million people each year, the Office of the Provost consists of the following divisions: Academic and Faculty Affairs, Enrollment and Student Engagement, the Undergraduate Experience, and Diversity & Inclusion.
As a state-assisted university, UC Denver is dedicated to the public good. To that end, our dedicated faculty, staff, and students are committed to academic rigor, research that contributes to the advancement and improvement of our nation and world, and community engagement that acknowledges our responsibilities as public university entrusted with the stewardship of our metropolitan area, the state of Colorado, and the larger Rocky Mountain west. As Colorado’s most diverse research university, UC Denver is especially mindful of its role in creating access for underrepresented students to an educational experience of the highest quality.
I hope you enjoy your journey through the UC Denver website and that we will have the opportunity to serve you.
Sincerely,
Roderick Nairn, PhD
