Colorado is a relatively new home for me. I moved to Fort Collins in July of 2006, and then to Denver in November 2008. If you asked me to describe myself, I would say that I am an ambitious, curious, and passionate soul. I have learned that motivation and ambition will get you far in life. I grew up with four older sisters in Minneapolis, Minnesota and learned much about life from their achievements and failures. From Minnesota, I moved to South Dakota where I completed my BS in Human Development and Family Studies from SDSU while also participating as a college athlete. After a few years of living in California, I moved back to South Dakota where I obtained my Master’s degree in Counseling. Most importantly, I have learned to trust myself and my values. Only I can create the person and life that I will be happy with for the rest of my life. I want to look back at my life with pride and satisfaction. It is important to make the most of yourself each day, because you will never have that day again and may never have that opportunity again. Our small successes and troubled times define who we are, while giving us a chance to grow and gain insight to a brighter future.
"Ability is what you're capable of doing. Motivation determines what you do. Attitude determines how well you do it."
Lou Holtz
I have had some wonderful people in my life who have helped me see that we have unlimited potential. My goal in working with others is to help them see their own potential and to understand how the power of passion, determination and commitment can help you achieve all that you set out to do.
My hobbies include: volleyball, hiking, traveling, playing games, spending time with family and friends, and cooking.

"The price of success is hard work, dedication to the job at hand, and the determination that whether we win or lose, we have applied the best of ourselves to the task at hand."
