I have worked since 2003 as a Computer Lab Supervisor and Database Maintenance person for the CCD Learning Success Services (LSS) department.  I’ve worked as a computer and math tutor there as well.  Subsequently I went to work half-time for the CCD Information Technology department, where I worked on the Help Desk and elsewhere.  The Director of IT gave me a strong recommendation to DTI.  Previously I worked for ten years as a Registered Securities Broker and Retirement Specialist, in which I developed excellent sensitivity to customer needs.  I bring a wealth of knowledge in the areas of computer programming, database administration and web applications including Object-Oriented Programming (Java, C/C++), ASP, HTML, XML, and MS Access, as well as expertise in Linux and Windows operating systems.

In addition to databases and web applications I enjoy playing classical piano and guitar.  I have performed with punk bands, rock bands, and a jazz quartet, and currently play country gospel music at a small Baptist church.  After working as a cook in Denver for many years, I still enjoy smoking Briskets, baking Cheesecakes and dicing tubers and root vegetables.
