How to Apply - Transfer

HEALTH CAREER STUDENTS:  If you have completed professional health program pre-requisite courses and/or degrees and are ready to apply for admission to the Anschutz Medical Campus, visit www.uchsc.edu for health program applications and information. If applying to the Downtown Denver Campus for pre-health studies, click here for important information before you apply.

 

 

 

Submit the on-line application for undergraduate admission or request an application on-line from the Office of Admissions or by calling us at 303.556.2704.  You may also obtain an application at your school's counseling office. 

  1. Complete the application and return it to the Office of Admissions along with a $50 non-refundable application fee.
  2. Have one official transcript sent to the Office of Admissions from each collegiate institution attended. Transcripts must be sent by the issuing school directly to:

    * Hand-delivered transcripts are considered official only when they are received in the original sealed envelope from the issuing institution. 
    * Faxed transcripts are not official

If you are currently enrolled at another institution, an incomplete transcript listing all courses except those taken in the final term should be sent. Another transcript must be submitted after completion of the final term. If you are applying to the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences or the College of Arts & Media and have fewer than 13 semester hours of transferable college work completed, you must also submit a high school transcript and ACT or SAT test scores. If you have 13-23 credits, high school transcripts are also required. Engineering and business applicants with fewer than 24 semester hours must submit high school transcripts and ACT or SAT scores.

Note: If you are attending CU-Denver as a non-degree student prior to applying as a degree seeking (transfer) student, you must also submit an official copy of your high school transcript and ACT or SAT scores.  This is required regardless of your age or the number of credits you have earned.
