Before the decision phase of the admission process is reached, you must first make sure to submit all pieces of information required for consideration as an applicant. The following are the steps to complete in order to apply for admission.
How to Apply - Freshmen
Submit the on-line application for undergraduate admission or request an application on-line from the Office of Admissions or by calling us at 303.556.2704. You may also obtain an application at your school's counseling office.
- Complete the application and return it to the Office of Admissions along with a $50 non-refundable application fee.

Have your high school send an official transcript of your high school grades, including class rank, to the Office of Admissions. Transcripts must be sent by the issuing school directly to:

* Hand-delivered transcripts are considered official only when they are received in the original sealed envelope from the issuing institution.
* Faxed transcripts are not considered official.
- If you did not graduate from high school, you must have a copy of your GED test scores and GED certificate sent directly from the certifying agency to the Office of Admissions.
- You are required to take either the American College Test (ACT) or the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) and request that test scores be sent to UC Denver (ACT code 0533 or SAT code 4875). High school students may obtain ACT and SAT test dates and locations from their counselors.
- If you are an international applicant, you must submit proof of proficiency in the English language.
