about the music industry and its operation from both philosophical and practical
perspectives. ARIA's objective is to explore the forces, trends, practices, and
products of the music entertainment industry in order to incorporate this
information into contemporary music education. ARIA is also a place where you
can receive practical information about how to succeed in the music business!
ARIA is a Professional Development Initiative of
The College Music Society
- a consortium of college, conservatory, university and independent musicians
and scholars interested in all disciplines of music. CMS promotes music teaching
and learning, musical creativity and expression, research and dialogue, and
diversity and interdisciplinary interaction.
promotes, produces and presents creative interactions between music and
technology (MAX and MSP programmers), an interdisciplinary research center,
drawing participants from many university departments including physics,
mathematics, electrical engineering, psychology, computer science, cognitive
science and music, presents concerts that cross cultural and musical barriers,
provide a forum for diverse lectures and demonstrations for students and the
community, includes an events calendar and useful archive.

IMtv
Musiquest: An interactive music video request line service originally
used by ABC Radio Network and other broadcasters and currently being utilized
by MTV Brazil ("MTV") an international Viacom licensee. IMT plans
to expand its "IMTV" Service throughout Latin America, Europe, Japan and
Singapore, countries where MTV has licensees. The Service provides
listeners with the ability to request songs from an interactive song menu,
receiving verification of the time the song will play and has a unique
call-out dedication feature which sends dedications by phone.
The Company has contacted and received interest from MTV Latino, MTV Singapore,
MTV Japan and MTV Europe. Additionally, the Company's software products
are capable of rather sophisticated data collection. The programs allow
stations and networks to collect information concerning the requested song
and the source of the request.
