International Colleges
International Colleges is creating a network of campuses granting credit and degrees from the University of Colorado Denver (UCD). Currently there is one International College in Beijing, China. The International Colleges department is housed in the Office of International Education at the University of Colorado Denver.
Courses in the International Colleges are taught in English by instructors approved by department chairs and administration using UCD syllabi and textbooks. Students attending these programs take courses that are transcribed on the University of Colorado transcript, the same as students attending the University of Colorado campus located in downtown Denver.

International College at Beijing
The Beijing program, created in 1994, is an international partnership between the University of Colorado Denver and China Agricultural University. The International College at Beijing provides a rich, cultural learning experience in an English-speaking environment. Located on the campus of China Agricultural University, this beautiful, historic campus is situated in the heart of Haidian District in Beijing, where many of the best universities in China are located. The China Agricultural University has been identified as part of the highly revered 211 Project, a level of distinction given by the Chinese government as being one of the top ten universities in the country.
Students undertake a rigorous undergraduate course of study that mirrors that offered in the United States. We seek students who have a command in English, and students who also want to pursue a Western-based, liberal arts education. At the International College at Beijing, students may earn a bachelor’s degree in economics or communication. The degree will be from the University of Colorado, a highly ranked, comprehensive research university that is known internationally for its excellence in both teaching and research. What sets the academic instruction at the International College at Beijing apart from the University of Colorado Denver is simply its location.
During studies at the International College at Beijing, students are given the rewarding opportunity to study for a year at the University of Colorado Denver Downtown Campus. After completing an undergraduate degree at the International College at Beijing, graduates will be positioned to continue education in the United States or to seek career opportunities with multi-national corporations, governments, and/or non-profit organizations from around the world.
All classes are taught in English, and faculty are selected for their expertise in their chosen discipline.
