Transfers
F-1 or J-1 Students Transferring to UCD from Another U.S. Institution
If you choose to transfer to the University of Colorado Denver from another U.S. institution (whether you graduate or not) this is considered a “transfer of schools.” Once you have been accepted to our university, in order for UCD to issue an I-20 or DS-2019 to you, your old school must release you in SEVIS to us. To assure that International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) has accurate information for the “transfer in” process, please complete this form, and submit it to ISSS. If you graduated already, the transfer must be completed in SEVIS before your grace period ends in order to maintain your status. Contact an International Student Advisor with any questions regarding this process at (303) 315-2230.
