About Office of International Affairs

The Office of International Affairs (OIA) coordinates international education at UCD, including services to international students and scholars, study-abroad programs, international admissions, international colleges and arranging international collaborations on behalf of the University. International education is at the heart of the educational enterprise and by facilitating the diffusion of global awareness, OIA enriches the teaching, research and learning functions of the University.

International education is a fundamental dimension of the overall pedagogical process. As recent world events have shown, the price of not understanding the world is high. OIA is committed to supporting and strengthening academic quality at UCD, while affording students the chance increase their international awareness; in so doing we help to create a richer campus and better prepared graduates.
