Resources for Staff at the Anschutz Medical Campus
Staff at the Anschutz Medical Campus can find documents here that help with processing paperwork for F-1 international students.
AMC Departments Admitting F-1 International Students
F-1 international students admitted to the Health Sciences Center will need an I-20 immigration document from International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) in order to attend. In order to get that I-20 the HSC admissions personnel will need to submit the following paperwork and the required documentation listed on the AMC International Student Application Checklist to Christina Hertel, International Student Advisor in International Affairs:

Request for Student I-20
Please note that it is important that the admissions personnel check that the forms are completed and all required paperwork is included before sending it to ISSS. Without complete forms we are unable to process your request for an I-20.
AMC Work Authorization Information
On-Campus Employment: F-1 students are allowed to work on-campus for 20 hours or less per week (40 hours during official school breaks) while they are in status and enrolled as a fulltime student at UCD. For more information regarding this please review the On-Campus Employment Eligibility Form. You may collect this form as proof of a F-1 student's on-campus work eligibility.
Off-Campus Employment: F-1 students that want to work off-campus in their field of study have to have authorization on their I-20 immigration document in advance of commencing employment. This work authorization is called Curricular Practical Training (CPT). CPT may also be an appropriate authorization for some AMC students that have a professional internship in their field of study that is on-campus, but over 20 hours per week (i.e. exceeds on-campus work authorization's hourly limitation). To learn about CPT eligibility and the application process, F-1 students must attend a Work Clinic at the Downtown Campus or at AMC. Schedules are posted here. and then turn in the appropriate documentation. For more information see below:
