1. The Bylaws of the UCD Faculty and Faculty Assembly shall be published and submitted to the members of the UCD Faculty, who shall vote at a UCD Faculty meeting for their approval.
2. All members serving on Faculty Assembly or its committees shall be duly elected members, for the remainder of their terms, of the newly constituted Faculty Assembly and its committees on approval of these Bylaws.
3. Duly elected officers of the Faculty Assembly or its committees shall serve the remainder of their terms with the appropriate, newly constituted Faculty Assembly and its committees on approval of these Bylaws. On approval of these Bylaws, officers of Faculty Assembly shall have their terms extended until the end of the Assembly year following the expiration of their terms.
4. If a new committee is constituted which is deemed by the Executive Committee of Faculty Assembly to replace an active committee, the active members and officers of that committee shall be considered duly elected members and officers of the newly constituted Faculty Assembly committee on approval of these Bylaws.
