Chancellor addresses young scholars, leaders to kick of program
(Aug. 22, 2008) The University Honors and Leadership program, formerly the Chancellor’s Scholars and Leaders,
kicked off in North Classroom Friday, Aug. 22, with Chancellor M. Roy Wilson addressing the 38 undergraduate students in the program.
“A good leader always has a good team,” Wilson told the students. “Importantly, he knows he shouldn’t be ahead all the time. Let others be part of the process.”
A launch reception was held at the chancellor's home later that evening.
