Join UC Denver for citywide One Book, One Denver activities
(Sept. 9, 2008) The University of Colorado Denver is joining Mayor John Hickenlooper and the Denver Office of Cultural Affairs in sponsoring and promoting the fifth annual One Book, One Denver citywide reading program. The mayor’s office announced Tuesday, Sept. 9, that The Thin Man by the American author Dashiell Hammett is the 2008 One selection. The book, set in the 1960s, is a murder mystery.
The UC Denver community is encouraged to participate in the program by reading the book and attending related events through Oct. 31.
