Student Financial Services launches new site
(Sept. 26, 2008) Check out the totally redesigned Student Financial Services (SFS) web pages, which include the AVC Student Financial Services, Bursar, and Financial Aid.
In creating the new web presence, SFS created user-friendly navigation, put things in terminology our clients use rather than business office jargon, developed a common look and feel between the campus locations, and updated content. On each of our main pages we’ve created a “hot topics” section. Bursar page at the downtown campus, we’ve also created a Parent section. All pages were also designed with a presentation format that has followed CITT recommendations, moving us in the direction of the yet to be finalized UCD graphic identity.
At the request of the School of Medicine, the SFS site now has “one stop shops” by academic program area, where a student can locate information about the bursar, financial aid, and other relevant web sites all in one location. We invite you to come in to the new web site and look around. Please update your bookmark to this new location. http://www.cudenver.edu/Admissions/CostsFinancing/

UC Denver puts on a fresh face with new display!
(Aug. 11, 2008) The faces of more than 150 UC Denver students, faculty, alumni and staff are featured in a brand new image campaign being installed this week in the groundfloor windows of two Downtown Campus buildings (see example above). You'll be able to see these colorful large-format photos displayed in the Lawrence Street Center at 1380 Lawrence Street and at 1250 14th Street, which is the CU Denver Building. The 'faces' each are accompanied by a phrase with a verb prefaced with "I." The verbs cover the broad breadth of UC Denver's people and programs, and they were carefully paired with the individual in the photo. These images represent our work across locations from Downtown to the Anschutz Medical Campus and 9th Avenue and Colorado Boulevard. This project developed by the Integrated University Communications team was timed for greatest visibility to coincide with the additional visitors expected to flow through downtown during this month’s Democratic National Convention.
