Research on Paget’s Disease
(August 26, 2008) Researchers are seeking participants for a study to determine incidence of Hypocalcemia post reclast treatment in patients with Paget ’s disease after institution of educational strategies to improve adherence to calcium and vitamin D supplementation.
Participant requirements:

male or female 18 years of age or older
-
elevation in serum alkaline phosphatase of two times or higher than the upper limit for the age-specific normal reference range
-
female participants must be willing to have a serum pregnancy test as well as use a non hormonally medically acceptable method of contraception during the study
-
willing to attend two or possibly three visits for study related tests
Qualified participants will receive:

DXA bone scan
-
laboratory testing

financial compensation
