Keep on the lookout out for WebEvent
Quick and easy calendaring is coming. The University of Colorado Denver has adopted the WebEvent calendar system and plans to have it up, running and linked to the home page by the start of fall semester. WebEvent provides quick access to university-sponsored events and other information. In addition, the software enables users to export event dates directly into their Outlook calendars.
The UCDHSC downtown Denver campus calendar will include a multitude of schools, colleges and departmental calendars being determined by each area. Users will be able to click single or multiple calendars at once, pull up the entire campus calendar and choose different options for viewing, such as weekly or monthly listings. Calendar submissions should be sent to a designated calendar manager in each school, college or department. The managers are being determined by the heads of each unit. The manager will forward postings to calendar editor Catherine Beuten in the Office of Marketing Communications for publication. Look for updates and a list of calendar managers in an upcoming PostExpress or the next edition of Skylines.
