Chancellor Wilson mulls organization models

During July and August, Chancellor M. Roy Wilson held a series of open forums for faculty, staff and students at UCD locations. The purpose was to discuss and gather feedback relating to restructuring under one of four proposed organizational models. Wilson has indicated that restructuring will be a key to preparing our consolidated university for accreditation as a single institution in the next four to five years.

Following the open forums, Wilson then invited faculty, staff and students to provide additional feedback during informal sessions at Fitzsimons, 9th & Colorado as well as in the Lawrence Street Center. Wilson is expected to announce his decision on restructuring.

Wilson says he anticipates holding additional open forums specifically to address other major issues as needed, including "institutional identity and branding." Dates have not yet been set.
