(Oct. 13, 2009) The University of Colorado is proud to host “The Wall,” the American Veteran’s Traveling Tribute, Nov. 5-6 on the Auraria Campus.

The Wall is a 370-foot, three-quarter scale replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C. The University of Colorado Denver is the first campus in the country to host this important memorial.

The memorial lists the names of 58,253 killed in action during the Vietnam War and celebrates the lives of the fallen of combat operations spanning from World War II to Operation Enduring Freedom. The opening ceremony will be noon Thursday, Nov. 5; closing ceremony will be begin at noon Friday, Nov. 6.

The wall will be located on the lawn in the center of campus. Check out the full schedule of events.
