• To promote the use of evaluation by diverse stakeholders;
   
• To help institutions and organizations become effective
  consumers of evaluation data;
   
• To provide a setting where Ph.D. and master's degree students can further develop quantitative and qualitative evaluation expertise by working on real life evaluation projects; and 
   
• To become a resource for informing health, education, and social policies.
