Designed for students interested in using their creative and entrepreneurial talents, by focusing on the industry’s present growth and emerging trends.

Prepares teachers holding an initial license to identify and champion the strengths and assets of individuals ages 5 - 21 with differing abilities, including those with identified disabilities. Designed for teachers who want an endorsement but are not seeking a master’s, equipping them with impactful and effective skills for leading inclusive classrooms and collaborating with other professionals.

The Business Minor requires students to take the same business core classes as our Bachelor of Science students. This minor is more intensive than the Business Fundamentals Minor, because it gives you a stronger base in all business disciplines

Creates leaders who inspire by delivering a deep understanding of individual and group behavior, organizational change and design, and human resources. Graduates have the skills and knowledge to lead their teams in changing environments and deliver projects under deadlines.

Enhances students’ basic civil engineering education with an interdisciplinary approach. Students select courses from other areas of study with the option to focus on an expertise. Areas of expertise include construction engineering and management, geomatics and GIS, hydrologic, environmental, and sustainability engineering, and or transportation systems.

Builds on the fundamentals of mechanical engineering typically learned in an undergraduate mechanical engineering program. Students choose among four areas of study: biomechanics, general mechanical engineering, mechanics, or thermal sciences.

The minor in biology provides a firm foundation in the diversity of the life sciences. Our students are instilled with a respect and a sense of responsibility for life and the environment, as well as the knowledge to understand ongoing advancements in the field of biology.

Introduces students to the complex interplay between social movements and the processes for initiating and consolidating democracies. Students examine relevant theoretical and methodological literature and apply it to current circumstances by taking specified courses in the major subfields of political science: American, comparative, international politics, and political theory.

Offers a joint program with the College of Architecture and Planning that allows students to accelerate through the master’s in urban and regional planning. Students focus on the important relationship between geography and urban and regional planning and their impact on the spatial configuration of the places humans inhabit and enjoy.
