Learn to develop expertise in analyzing risk dimensions and creating strategies to manage these risks. The RMI industry is incredibly diverse and hires talented individuals from nearly every major.

The bachelor of science in electrical engineering at CU Denver stresses the rigorous scientific and theoretical foundations in EE. The program has an interdisciplinary focus with an in-depth ability to use a combination of software, instrumentation, and experimental techniques practiced today.

Provides competence in descriptive statistics, estimation, confidence intervals, probability and inferential techniques, simple and multiple regression, analysis of variance, and more advanced topics. In collaboration with community and labor organizations, the Center for New Directions program focuses on public leadership, community/labor organizing, and social economy innovations. The program seeks to develop the leadership and community organizing capacities necessary to address challenges and opportunities within neighborhoods, communities, government jurisdictions, and non-profit entities.

Philosophy of science concerns the logic of scientific inquiry, raising questions such as: what is the best way to use observational evidence to learn about the natural world? How can findings be justified as objectively credible reasons to accept a hypothesis or a theory? How can we spot biases and procedural errors, and control for them to enhance the quality of investigation? What justifies classifying and grouping observational phenomenon when the world does not come pre-labeled? To what degree is truth relevant to the logical grounds to accept a hypothesis?
