Graduate Council
Graduate Education Governance at CU Denver
The Graduate Council reviews and recommends campuswide policies, procedures, and strategic priorities related to graduate studies at CU Denver. It consists of voting graduate faculty members representing each school and college as well as the library, and is joined by non-voting members in select administrative roles.
Following a comprehensive review of graduate studies across CU Denver in 2025–26, the Graduate Council will spend the 2026-27 updating its scope, responsibilities, priorities, and membership in alignment with a new university-wide graduate studies framework, for implementation in fall 2027.
