Summer Bridge Program
Program Overview
In partnership with Lynx Summer Academy at the University of Colorado Denver (CU Denver), the Pre-Collegiate Summer Bridge Program is designed to offer CU system Pre-Collegiate graduates, who matriculate to CU Denver the opportunity to enroll in college classes during the summer after their high school graduation and prior to starting fall semester. Students enrolled in two three-college granting-credit courses and a one-college granting-credit course. The program is designed to help students with a smooth transition from high school to CU Denver and get them acclimated to the campus as they start their college career.
Eligibility and Responsibilities
Eligibility
- Must graduate from one of the CU Pre-Collegiate Programs (CU Anschutz, CU Boulder, UCCS, or CU Denver)
- Attend CU Denver the fall following the students’ high school graduation
Responsibilities and Expectations
Our staff is committed to providing our students with every opportunity to be successful at CU Denver. However, to get the full benefit from their experiences and fulfill their academic potential, students are expected to:
- Actively participate in the Pre-Collegiate Summer Bridge Program
- Attend and be fully involved in all program-sponsored activities
- Cooperate with the program staff in all program-related matters
- Attend classes and complete all assignments
